Fabulous Museum - good for adults and children!

We had such an amazing time at the museum. My little girl loved looking at everything and all the interactive things she could do. It's very informative but also very fun. The ice caves were amazing, as was the volcano show and the light show. I would definitely recommend going here. It's good for adults and children.

Perfect Perlan

Had a wonderful morning at the Perlan Museum.

There are loads of informative displays and exhibitions for the kids to interact with. We particularly enjoyed the Volcano exhibition, Ice Cave and Northern Light shows. The Observation Deck on the top floor was a nice surprise, offering beautiful panoramic views of Reykjavík and the surrounding areas.

A visit to Perlan comes highly recommended by us!

Wonderful, interactive museum.

Fantastic place to visit to learn more about Iceland in an interactive environment. We spent 5 hours there, learnt lots, and enjoyed cake and a drink in the revolving restaurant. I would highly recommend adding this place place to your To Do list!

A must for any visitor to Reykjavik. Great value so much to see and experience.

The Perlan was an incredible experience. I spent a whole morning there and attended the lava and northern lights experience twice! I loved all the segments and how interesting and well laid out they were. Learning so much as I went. The ice caves were a highlight too. All staff were very friendly and knowledgeable...

Must visit museum in Reykjavik.

This was the best museum I have been too. Everything was very interactive and brought to life Iceland's unique nature. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even booked a taxi for me on the way out as a blizzard had just started and I could not go back to my hotel otherwise. The aurora video at the planetarium had the most incredible visualisations of space I have seen and was very well explained. I also loved the ice cave and the volcano screening.

Everything was amazing!

We loved Perlan - we were there for around four hours, experiencing the cafe (delicious cake), restaurant (delicious meal), planetarium (beautiful), volcano show (breathtaking), ice cave (cold! but great) and the exhibitions, including the recreated bird cliff, were amazing - hard to pick a favourite! It was a rainy day so the only thing we didn't experience was the view, but we imagine it must be great.

Definitely make time to visit Perlan. If you have children, they will love it, too. There are a number of hands on exhibits, and the shows are very informative. Don’t miss the ice cave. The view from the upper deck is wonderful.

Brilliant!

We loved Perlan! Easy to get to on the bus, had a really enjoyable few hours walking round. The Aurora show is amazing and was great to see after we saw the northern lights the night before! The ice cave was fun but they let too many people in at once so wait until it quiet or be at the front of the queue. Observatory deck is brilliant and the cafe was lovely too.

Planetarium and Observatory - wonderful

The views from the observation area are stunning. We were lucky that is wasn't windy and were able to take in the whole breathtaking sights (360). The Planetarium Northern Lights show was great as it explained simply how they come into being. There's enough information about glaciers, volcanoes, and wildlife to keep you interested...

The best nature’s museum in the world

This is a stunning place, where you learn about lave, glaciers, water and nature. Eye-opening exhibition about melting the glacier and why we should protect them. All super interactive, kids and adults everybody will love it. And a great view of the Reykjavik from the roof.
